VetZet
Veterinary Concierge Consultation
My pet is sick, help!
Did you ever wish you could have an experienced emergency veterinarian come to your home and help you figure out what to do? Whether you need a second opinion, a quick look at something, or worse, your pet is sick and you don't know what to do. Who should you call? Where should you go? Is it an emergency? Can I find an ER that's open?
Will my pet be okay??
VetZet can help. We are an at-home triage and consultation service.
As a mom of two active young children and one crazy cat, I can relate. It's scary when our loved ones are sick, be it furry or 2 legged. Even scarier when we don't know if they will be okay.
We are at a time in the veterinary profession where our emergency hospitals are not always able to accept incoming patients, and the wait to be seen by your primary veterinarian can be days to weeks. This is where VetZet can help.
THE CONSULTATION
VetZet will arrive at your home, obtain a complete history, vital signs, and our experienced emergency veterinarian will perform a full and thorough examination.
THE PLAN
If your pet needs emergency treatment, we will locate an emergency hospital that is accepting patients, speak with the attending doctor/staff, obtain an estimate of cost and procedure, and facilitate transfer to that hospital.
If your pet is stable, we will create a comprehensive care plan. This may include written prescriptions, prescriptions through our online pharmacy, and will include discharge instructions on what to expect or what symptoms to look for that may be concerning.
VetZet can perform bloodwork.
VetZet does not provide any medications at time of exam.
VetZet does not do at-home euthanasia.
THE FOLLOW-THROUGH
In stressful and urgent situations, it is always relieving knowing someone is there for you along the way. After a visit by VetZet, you can expect follow-up to check in. All records will be sent to your pet's general practitioner upon discharge to ensure a smooth continuation of care, regarding your pet's medical status and on-going needs.
